Gavin Bohne, CLVS
Gavin is the owner/operator of Bluu Screen Productions, Big Cheese Entertainment, and founder/owner of U be the DJ. He has deep roots in Audio Visual with more than a decade of industry experience. Over the years he has set and managed numerous press conferences, high-scale presentations, video conferences, and product release parties.
Recently married he experienced firsthand the challenges and frustration of planning a successful wedding event. One of the services he found lacking in Utah was a self-service DJ company. Most local DJs required their technician or DJ to host the event, and they limited the customer to only the music they had available. Going directly to an AV rental company proved to be outrageously expensive as each and every component had an individual daily rental rate and didn't include the support of delivery or setup. Neither resource seemed to offer the right balance of professional-grade equipment combined with enough support to satisfy someone who preferred to have control of their event, play their music, and yet be so user-friendly that anyone could host a flawless event.
As such, "U Be The DJ" was born, a service provider with three simple professional DJ equipment packages, each including, at no extra charge, support of delivery, setup, and strike. In conjunction with the freedom to play your favorite music, and make your announcements makes "U Be The DJ" a perfect match for the budget-minded "Do it yourself" individual, who is passionate to build their playlist and host a party in their style. We also teamed up with some well-renowned talented local DJs to help those of you who would rather leave managing a playlist and party vibe up to a pro. Our company prioritizes the safety of our clients, as such, we have committed to a fully vaccinated staff and face coverings while in public spaces.
